5 Paleo On-the-Go Snacks

I’m one of those obsessive snackers. Always munching on something, at least once an hour. One of the hardest parts of going paleo is snacks. Especially when you’re pressed for time. But I GOT YOU. Here are 5 on-the-go paleo snack options:

1. Larabars

Larabars are the go-to paleo snack. They all have like 5 ingredients maximum, which is pretty fantastic. The cashew cookie is just cashews and dates. That’s IT. And they taste awesome. These all-natural bars are sold almost everywhere, and you can find them in a variety of flavors (banana bread, carrot cake, apple pie, cherry pie, blueberry muffin, the list goes on). My personal favorite is the coconut chocolate chip. Stock up, and make sure you always have one in your bag.

Where to buy: Almost any grocery store, Target, Wal-Mart, etc. or online here.

2. Krave Jerky

Krave Jerky is perfect for those times when you need a little more substance. With lots of standout flavors like Pineapple Orange, Chili Lime, and Black Cherry Barbeque, you can always find a jerky that gives you a salty fix. They have beef, pork, and turkey jerky #winning.

Where to buy: Online here, Whole Foods, or Costco.

3. Terra Vegetable Chips

Normal snackers crave chips at some point. And honestly when I was looking up Paleo snack ideas myself, no sites had the bright idea of Terra chips. Why? I have no idea. These amazing veggie chips are made from root vegetables like taro, parsnips, beets, sweet potatoes, and ratata. The Mediterranean mix is super flavorful with herbs and lemon – a definite recommendation.

Where to buy: Local grocery store or online here.

4. Epic Hunt and Harvest Mix

This snack has it all. Epic Hunt and Harvest Mix takes delicious jerky and mixes it with a perfect blend of fruit and nuts. The is the perfect paleo trail mix, and might be one of the best snack options when you need to save some time. Also, it’s a great post-workout protein option. They’re got Coconut Carnivore, Berry Blossom, Mountain Medley, and Honest Harvest. Snacker goals. I’ll take all 4 bags pls.

Where to buy: Online here or local health stores like Whole Foods.

5. Caveman Cookies

If you’re human, you sometimes crave a cookie. Thanks to Caveman Cookies, being paleo doesn’t have to mean you can’t satisfy the cookie craving. These 100% all-natural, gluten-free and are a perfect snack/ dessert indulgence. They have adorable names like New World, Mayan, Aline, Rainforest, and Tropical, but the amazing flavors behind the names are chocolate chili & chia, pumpkin maple & cranberry, raisin & walnut, coconut & macademia, and hazelnut & carob. I don’t know about you, but I need them now.

Where to buy: Online here.

And there you have it! Now there’s no excuse for not sticking to your Paleo diet when you’re in a hurry. Happy snacking!
